Anaesthesia and Intensive Care is the official journal of the
Australian Society of Anaesthetists,
Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society and the
New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists.
The Journal is published by the Australian Society of Anaesthetists. Anaesthesia and Intensive Care is an educational journal for those associated with anaesthesia, intensive care medicine and pain medicine, and a means by which individuals may inform their colleagues of their research and experience. The Journal presents original articles of scientific clinical interest. There are six issues a year published in January, March, May, July, September and November.

Subscriptions
All subscribers to Anaesthesia and Intensive Care should notify changes of address directly to the Australian Society of Anaesthetists, the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society or the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists. An annual subscription to the Journal comprises six issues with complimentary online access. Subscriptions are entered on a calendar year basis only. Payment is accepted in Australian dollars only and GST is included in all prices. New Zealand subscribers do not pay GST. All prices include postage and overseas journals are sent via airmail. A 10% agency discount is available to recognised subscription agencies.

Detailed and comprehensive instructions for
authors are published in every January issue of the Journal and are available in the Authors section and on the submissions website.
The guidelines follow the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors and comply with the format standards of the National Library of Medicine.
